Final Production Well at Azurite in Production

The oil and gas group PA Resources advises that the final production well on Azurite Field offshore Republic of Congo has commenced oil production as planned. As previously reported, this well was drilled as a sidetrack from an existing field production well, which it replaces. All planned wells have now been drilled and completed at the field.

PA Resources has a 35 percent working interest in the production sharing contract for the Azurite Field, the operator Murphy Oil Corporation has a 50 percent working interest and Société Nationale Petroles du Congo 15 percent.
