Works launched on Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park

For implementation of works under the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev “On establishment of the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park” dated December 21, 2011, the management and experts of various departments and organizations held a meeting in Sumgayit.

The attendees visited the future site of the industrial park. SOCAR President Mr. Rovnag Abdullayev, Economic Development Minister Mr. Shahin Mustafayev, and other officials familiarized themselves with work to clear the site and prepare it for construction. The participants also discussed the future shape of the project. The heads of relevant organizations and services were given commissions regarding acceleration of construction works of Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park which will play an important role in the development of Azerbaijani economy and private sector of industry, and due legalization of works in this connection.
