GPS Dubai Wins Milestone Project with Larsen & Toubro

Larsen & Toubro Ltd of India has awarded GPS Dubai the contract to supply of Gas Sweetening and Gas Dehydration process systems required for the Lekhwair Gas Field Development (LGFD) Project in Oman. The objective of the LGFD is to enhance gas supply by 3mms m3/d, in order to meet the growing demand for gas in the country.

The overall project will comprise a single train for exporting treated gas to the Government Gas Plant in Yibal. The project includes the required utilities and supporting facilities as well as flow lines, well pad piping, remote manifold station, and liquid and gas export pipelines.

As Kingsley Onojaife, Director & General Manager of GPS Dubai, notes, “This represents a major milestone for both Larsen & Toubro and GPS in winning this key project from Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), one of the major national oil companies in the region. We are committed to delivering a successful project for both Larsen & Toubro and PDO.”
