OOCEP to Invest in Yemen Oil Exploration, Production

Oman Oil Company Exploration and Production (OOCEP) expressed here on its desire to invest in Yemen in oil exploration and production area.

At his meeting with Minister of Oil and Minerals Hisham Sharaf, the OOCEP chief executive officer Salim Al Sibani noted to the wish to renew the implementation of the Yemeni-Omani joint company, which had already been prepared for its establishment.

For his part, the minister welcomed the company's intention to invest in this sector, which needs such required technologies, directing the concerned sides in the ministry to complete the procedures of forming the joint company.
