Hawk Measurement Systems in the America's with their location in Middleton, Massachusetts is pleased to announce the launch of their New Acoustic Wave Switch. Utilizing the tried and true acoustic wave technology that has self cleaning properties, the company is launching to the industrial market place this new switch for point level detection. The highlight of this new switch is its reliable performance in difficult applications where solids materials become wet with moisture and coat and cause build-up problems in plants that deal in solids. Whether the material is metal ores, coal, or any other solids material, the New Acoustic Wave switch from Hawk Measurement Systems can provide continuous measurement for any point detection or blockage application. The most common application for this product is blockage detection or plugged chute detection in transfer chutes.

And as mentioned earlier in this notice, the Acoustic wave switch utilizes low frequency and high power to make certain that there is a pressure wave created on the transducer faces so that material is kept off of the faces for continual reliable performance.
