Iran has resumed the flow of natural gas to Turkey at 18:30 p.m. local time on Monday after an explosion last week damaged part of the pipeline connecting the two countries and cut off supply, Spokesman for the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), Majid Boujarzadeh announced.
According to the report of the public relations of the NIGC, he said that the export of Iran's natural gas to Turkey resumed after a request by Turkey and after the damaged pipeline was repaired.
He went on to say that, Turkish gas company, BOTAS, has demanded Iran to raise the volume of gas delivery to the company to 30 million cubic meters per day.
