The model 209 pressure transducer has been announced. The Model 209 is ideal for use in a variety of applications, including fuel cell development, OEM, industrial and HVAC. The Model 209 is very effective for hydrogen fuel cell development, as it is compatible with a number of liquids and gases and contains no seals or "O" rings that could cause leakage. Hydrogen fuel cell development directly converts the chemical energy contained in fuel to electrical power, eliminating polluting emissions.
The weather-resistant Model 209’s small footprint (1.62" diameter x 2.24", end to end), lightweight (3.5 oz) stainless steel/Valox housing, stainless steel wetted parts, choice of cable, or optional Hirschmann or Packard termination.
The model 209 offers ± 0.25% full scale accuracy, 0.10% hysteresis, stability of 0.5% FS/yr., and pressure ranges as low as 0 to 1 psig up to 0 to 10,000 psig with either voltage (0.5 - 5.5 VDC) or current (4-20 mA) output and extended excitation voltage (9-30 VDC). In addition, this rugged transducer maintains its accuracy in spite of mechanical shock and vibration (meets MIL specifications), thermal shock, RFI, corrosive media, and other extremes common in harsh industrial environments.
