TATNEFT Won Awards of Oil and Gas 2012 Exhibition

Following the results of the Contest for the best exhibit, project or technical solution, held as part of the XIXth International Exhibition "Oil and Gas. Petrochemicals - 2012", TATNEFT Company won five high awards.

Awards of the prestigious Contest were presented for four engineering developments of TatNIPIneft of OAO TATNEFT. The R&D Institute scientists were awarded the Grand Prix of the Contest in the nomination "Enhanced oil recovery" for the development of a "Technology to increase oil recovery from reservoirs by injecting micro-gel polymer systems with surfactants (MGS-KPS technology)".

Two more projects of TatNIPIneft scientists were awarded the I-st degree Diplomas:

- "Technology of cathodic protection of underground and surface facilities against soil corrosion at the industrial sites" in the category "Innovative environmentally friendly technologies";

- "Technology of developing extra-viscous oil fields with small thickness of layers by cyclic steam/solvent injection into single directional wells" in the nomination "Energy-saving technologies and equipment".

The II-nd degree Diploma was awarded to the professionals of TatNIPIneft for "Technology to increase oil recovery from the reservoir by injecting biopolymer compositions ("RBC-Xanthan" Technology)" in the nomination "Enhanced Oil Recovery".

The I-st Degree Diploma was also awarded to Bugulma Mechanical Plant of OAO TATNEFT for the engineering development of "Pipe design with an internal anticorrosion coating TPS - U" in the nomination "Products with new or improved characteristics".
