Rig-1 has experienced some additional mechanical problems as it is field tested and the workover of the Malolos-1 well has not progressed since the last report. All problems arose with surface equipment and not down-hole. Parts, such as the brakes and transmission, that failed have been replaced. The repairs to Rig-1 have now been completed and it is ready to recommence the workover operations, barring new mechanical faults arising. Currently the mill bit is in the hole and ready to work on clearing the junk. Rig-2 is currently undergoing maintenance on the main electrical generator and expected to be operational within the next 2 weeks. For efficiency we are considering replacing Rig-1 at Malolos-1 with the bigger Rig-2 to catch up on the time lost on repairs but have to weigh it against the time and cost of mobilisation.

Drilling

It has been decided to defer drilling Ilang-1 and focus our crew efforts on the Malolos-1 workover presently.

Results from both Jacob-1 and Gumamela-1 indicate that there is a high risk that the targeted sandstone reservoirs will not be present within the Ilang prospect. Additional technical studies are required before drilling Ilang-1 which may be replaced by a new well at another location which represents lower risk.

We are also considering future drilling of an appraisal well in the Malolos area following a successful workover and testing program. This drilling option includes using Rig-2 and side-tracking from the existing, cased Nuevo Malolos-1 well or drilling a completely new well.

The Company has also been approached by several other Philippine service contract operators to engage Rig-2 and Rig-1 in their drilling and workover plans for 2013. The Company is reviewing these opportunities that could see both rigs fully working through 2013 generating additional value to the Company and vindicating the investment made in the rigs.
