Bad weather trimmed oil shipments from Iraq's southern Basra terminals on 2 march 2013, with only 1.6 million barrels being exported compared with 2.23 million on 1 march 2013, a shipping source said.

"High winds in the Gulf are disrupting loading operations on Basra ports," the shipping source said.

Iraq exports the bulk of its crude from southern ports on the Gulf.
