GIE Awards Energia Mayakan Pipeline Expansion

Gulf Interstate Engineering Company, in association with Arendal, has been selected by GDF Suez to provide project management, engineering, design, procurement support, construction support and commissioning services for the Energia Mayakan Pipeline Expansion Project.

The Energia Mayakan Pipeline Expansion Project consists of a 30-inch pipeline capable of transporting natural gas using API-5L line pipe, approximately 75.9-km in length, from the Centro Procesador de Gas Nuevo PEMEX in the Municipality of Centro, State of Tabasco, Mexico to interconnect with Mayakan’s existing pipeline system at Energia Mayakan’s Compressor Station #1 in the Municipality of Macuspana, State of Tabasco, Mexico. The Project also includes an interconnection facility, delivery and receipt meter stationsc.
