Iraq raised its August prices of Basra light crude to U.S. buyers by 15 cents to a discount of $1.55 per barrel against the Argus (ASCI) benchmark and also raised prices to Europe and Asia, a trade source said.

In July, the price of Basra crude for U.S. buyers was set at minus $1.70 a barrel against ASCI.

Official selling prices for OPEC member Iraq are released on a monthly basis by the State Oil Marketing Organisation (SOMO).
