Tesla Exploration Ltd. recently signed an agreement with FairfieldNodal to lease 4500 ZLand nodes for an eight-month 2D vibrator project in Somaliland. The ZLand system solves Tesla’s challenges, as the nodes are lightweight, self-contained, single-point receivers that can easily be buried out of harm’s way in any land environment.
“Productivity is key to us, along with safety and security, of course,” said Derric Richardson, New Ventures Manager for Tesla in Africa. “Our crews can work more safely while increasing our productivity with this system.”
Serge Rambaud, FairfieldNodal’s regional sales manager in Europe sees ZLand gaining popularity in Africa. “This is the second ZLand system set to work in Africa in just five months,” he said. “Without the burden of cables, ZLand improves operational efficiency, especially in difficult locations where it’s vital to protect people and equipment, as well as the environment.”
