Paradigm announced that Oilfield Services International, Ofserv, has adopted Sysdrill, the Paradigm well planning and drilling engineering software solution, for the delivery of drilling support services to the West African market. The announcement was made at the Unconventional Resources Technology Conference (URTeC) in Denver, Colorado.
“The addition of well planning and drilling engineering capabilities to our existing oilfield services, required us to identify a fit-for-purpose software solution from a recognized and reliable partner,” said Dimeji Bassir, chief operating officer of Ofserv. “The selection of Sysdrill was based on the application’s ease-of-use, the seamless integration between well planning and engineering functions, and the reliability of the Paradigm technical support organization. We view Sysdrill as a key technology for achieving our goals of drilling the most fit-for-purpose well to the desired objective in the safest manner and at the lowest cost per foot.”
“We are extremely pleased that Ofserv has joined the growing number of companies that have selected Paradigm Sysdrill as their corporate solution for drilling engineering,” said Doug Gilmour, business development manager for Well Planning & Drilling Engineering at Paradigm. “The continued customer-driven development of our software solutions helps companies like Ofserv to reduce drilling risk and improve wellbore positioning in the reservoir for the benefit of its customers.”
Paradigm Sysdrill will be featured at URTeC in Denver, Colorado, in the Paradigm booth #400.
