Iraq expects to export 2.6 mln barrels per day of oil in October, the country's oil minister said. Basra oil export volumes are seen at 2.3 million to 2.4 million bpd next month, Oil Minister Abdul Kareem Luaibi said.

"It may be 2.6 mln bpd for October and for Basra 2.3 to 2.4 million bpd," he told reporters on the sidelines of an Asia energy ministers forum in Seoul.

Iraq is currently exporting 2.5 million bpd of oil, the minister said earlier in the day.

He also said Iraq had agreed a deal with BP Plc to develop the Kirkuk oilfield.
