Iraq has had to cut oil production in the south of the country due to a pipeline leak, two industry sources said. One of the sources said production had been cut by at least 450,000 barrels per day (bpd) and that efforts were under way to restore output to normal as soon as possible. Iraqi oil officials could not be immediately reached for comment.
