Gazprom and CNPC Look into Cooperation Prospects

Beijing hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Zhou Jiping, Chairman of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC).

The meeting participants looked into the development prospects for bilateral interaction in the energy sector. Special attention was paid to the issues of Russian natural gas supply via the eastern route.

Alexey Miller and Zhou Jiping also paid a visit to the CNPC Dispatch and Control Center, where they got acquainted with the main capabilities and the work of the operations and dispatch control unit of the Chinese gas transmission system.
