Managing Director (MD) of Petroleum, Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC), in his third visit from the Company’s ongoing projects, visited the Development Project of Azar Oilfield.
According to PEDEC’s Public Relations (PR), Eng. Hoseinnezhad in his one-day-visit from the Development Project of Azar Oilfield on Wednesday, November 06, emphasized on the quick implementation of the project for being a sharing field.
MD of PEDEC in his meeting with executive manager, contractor, advisors and experts of this oilfield discussed different issues, including payment problems.
Being present in the meeting, the main contractor of the project said that his team will increase the number of drilling rigs to accelerate the development operation. Then, PEDEC’s MD visited the site in which the drilling rigs were installed. For the time being, there are four drilling rigs installed in this oilfield.
Azar Oilfield is 20 kilometers to the southeast of Mehran. It is a hydrocarbon, sharing oilfield which is located along Iran-Iraq borderline. Badra is an Iraqi name for Azar Oilfield.
