TMK IPSCO, the North American division of global pipe manufacturer TMK, has been awarded two three-year contracts to provide both oil country tubular goods (OCTG) and line pipe to Shell for onshore and offshore
applications.
Five of TMK IPSCO’s plants are currently providing pipe to Shell under the OCTG contract. These include plants in Ambridge and Koppel, Pennsylvania; Wilder, Kentucky; Blytheville, Arkansas; and Baytown, Texas.
Welded and seamless OCTG as well as TMK UP™ brand DQX premium connections are currently being delivered. TMK’s Volzhsky and Sinarsky mills in Russia will provide line pipe under Shell’s specification. TMK IPSCO is one of the largest North American producers of welded and seamless pipe and premium connections for the oil and gas industry.
