Flow Data, Inc. announced news of an acquisition that will drive tighter control and delivery of its PADPro product in Texas. On February 3, 2014, Flow Data’s ownership group will finalize the purchase of Itsa Energy. Itsa will serve as Flow Data’s service arm in the Texas market, while Flow Data’s PADPro product is an opportunity for Itsa to deliver a premier wellhead automation solution to upstream and midstream oil and gas producers. The alliance enhances both companies’ existing abilities to drive service and automation-technology as a total solution.
Flow Data introduced the game-changing PADManager to the market in 1997. The configuration-based operating system solved the problem many producers where having, managing a shortage of available programmers to customize well site operations. In 2013, Flow Data released PADPro with an Android™ local-operator interface. The easy, intuitive navigation and powerful computer with SQL database gave producers access to decision-driving data as never before.
PADPro’s advanced-technology complimented Itsa’s desire to deliver a robust wellhead automation solution as part of a total-integration package. Flow Data are well site experts. The company provides service and installation of upstream automation and control systems to producers in North America. The company currently has operational facilities and field service teams in the Rockies, Williston Basin, Midcontinent and Appalachian Basin regions.
Itsa Energy was born from the vision of its founder, Joseph Rose who spent over two-decades directing and executing multi-million dollar, enterprise-level, software and technology projects for a number of Fortune 500 companies in Houston, Texas. Furthermore, the advanced technology of PADPro drove the opportunity for Itsa to install a standard automation package for a key customer in South America.
