Total E&P Canada Puts Project on Hold

The Joslyn North Mine project is in its engineering phase, led by the operator Total E&P Canada in partnership with Suncor, Occidental and Inpex. This large mining project requires an extensive planning and design effort. Total has decided with its partners to focus on ongoing engineering studies to further optimize the development plan to unlock additional value. Studies will aim at maximizing project value, reducing costs and increasing robustness of the development plan of this mega project. In the meantime, project teams and expenditures will be scaled down.
