Pulse has presented a paper on the structural monitoring of fixed offshore platforms at the International Conference on Ocean, Offshore & Arctic Engineering (OMAE) in San Francisco.
The paper, titled “The Use of Real Time Monitoring to Extend the Operating Life of Offshore Platforms” details some of the structural challenges faced by platform operators and shows how monitoring systems can help solve these challenges by forming part of a robust integrity management strategy.
Paul Chittenden, Business Development Manager, said “This paper shows how Pulse is helping operators assess the structural integrity of their oil and gas platforms and extend the operating life of their assets, allowing for greater profits and a safer working environment”.
