Wind energy is now the fastest growing source of power generation in Brazil. In 2013, 4,7GW were contracted, the biggest record in power auctions hiring.

The Brazilian Wind Power potential is estimated in 300 GW and the energy industry expectation is to contract at least another 2GW per year until 2020, adding, up to 2012, over 20GW of wind energy to the market.

At the 5th edition of Brazil Windpower (from 26 – 28 August 2014), Alstom is the diamond sponsor. We will be showcasing the latest cutting edge onshore wind power technology along with our innovative solutions and services.

Visit us at our booth 179 to 184, and experience new interactive applications, expert talks, and presentations showing how Alstom is shaping the future of wind energy.
