Primary Flow Signal (PFS), the leading designer and manufacturer of innovative, durable, and accurate flow-metering solutions for water/wastewater, industrial, and oil & gas applications, announces that it is offering highly accurate flow meters produced using advanced alloys, such as Monel 400, at any line size or thickness.
Often required for demanding applications with extreme temperatures, pressure, or corrosivity, flow meters made from specialized alloys can be very challenging and expensive to fabricate successfully. In order to meet these rigorous requirements, Primary Flow Signal has made significant investments in employee training, facilities upgrades, and state-of-the-art production equipment.
“At PFS, we take tremendous pride in our ability to manufacture our flow meters to exacting standards. We’re equally proud that this is being done by skilled technicians and machinists working at our facilities located throughout the United States,” said Bruce Briggs, President of Primary Flow Signal. “Our ability to engineer and fabricate flow meters from virtually any advanced alloy is extremely valuable to customers whose applications require precise construction and tight tolerances.”
In addition to manufacturing its meters from Monel 400, PFS can fabricate meters using Hallestoy C, Duplex stainless steel, Inconel, Titanium, 300 Series stainless steel, Aluminum, Chrome Moly, and Teflon.
PFS’s metering solutions are designed and “Made in the U.S.A.” by the industry’s largest team of specialized hydraulic engineers, and are produced using highly efficient, cost effective, and vertically-integrated manufacturing technology. The company’s products are backed by extensive laboratory and field testing, ISO 9001-2008 certification, ASME S, U & R Code Stamp capability, European code compliance via PED Module H.
