When is the event?
The Heat Exchange Engineering (HEE) conference, training and exhibition will be held at The Gulf Hotel Bahrain, Manama, The Kingdom of Bahrain on the 19th 21st October 2014. The event starts with a training course (Troubleshooting Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers) on Sunday 19th October and progresses into a two day conference and exhibition. With the likes of BAPCO sponsoring the event and Saudi Aramco speaking, the event is already looking exciting to the industry. HEE has early bird tickets available for the conference until the end of September with the exhibition free to attend over the two days.

Bahrain has been selected to be the host country for the first event. This location is ideal for visitors to the event, speakers and exhibitors, being located centrally in the Middle East and easily accessible from Saudi Arabia. HEE will be marketed throughout the Middle East, and surrounding countries.

The organisers are planning that HEE will be held every two years in a number of global locations. Consideration is already being given to South East Asia being the region for the following event.

Who should attend?
The conference will bring together a range of technical practitioners including technical management, design engineers, energy efficiency managers, plant engineers, maintenance specialists, equipment suppliers, service providers and researchers.

Why should you attend?
Heat Exchange Engineering will provide delegates with a dedicated event where they can connect with experts and peers to gain knowledge and an understanding of best practice in industrial heat exchange including the following topics: energy efficiency, operational modelling, fouling mitigation, equipment construction, cost optimisation, equipment design, process control, heat exchanger maintenance and plant improvement.

HEE is designed to deliver targeted introductions to new potential clients and projects, quality commercial leads, new suppliers, project collaborators, research partners and to provide training. The program is designed to maximize return on invested time and cost. The conference will improve user knowledge of specialist equipment, allowing informed decisions to be made between supplier’s technology and its cost effectiveness. The events are planned to provide solutions to plant problems and process limitations through meeting experts in the particular field. Suppliers of equipment can use time more effectively in maintaining relationships, introduce new products and learn about new projects at an early stage.
