Iran Inaugurates Desalting Plant in Dehloran

Iran’s Petroleum Minister Bijan Namdar Zangeneh has inaugurated a desalting factory in the western city of Dehloran.

The plant, which has a capacity of processing 55,000 b/d of oil, was launched on Thursday.

Addressing the event, Zangeneh called for the gathering of associated petroleum gases to serve the environment and bring about economic and industrial growth and prosperity.

The desalting plant will process oil produced from Dehloran and Danan fields.
