The Thailand Ministry of Energy launched the 21st Petroleum Bidding Round on 21 October 2014. 29 blocks comprising of 23 onshore and 6 offshore blocks have been offered in the round. Of the 23 onshore blocks 17 are located in the Northeast Region and the remaining 6 blocks are located in the North and Central regions.
