Twenty delegates from major Brazilian companies joined Michell Instruments Brasil at the Arena Hotel in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro during November to find out more about the companyís innovative humidity products and services.
Michellís new OptiPEAK TDL600 moisture analyzerís fast response and non-contact spectroscopic measurement principle ensures that gas storage companies are able to not only meet demand quickly but also satisfy the contractual standards for moisture content when stored natural gas is withdrawn and injected to the pipeline network.
The attendees represented a broad cross section of Brazilian industry, including national metrological and technical institutes as well as key manufacturing, pharmaceutical and hydrocarbon processing companies.
It was an interactive hands-on event based around demonstration of moisture measuring equipment in operation. The Michell Instruments ranges of on-line and portable moisture analysers were demonstrated, as well as high precision chilled mirror reference and dew-point calibration systems. General Manager of Michell Instruments Brasil, Andrť Araujo and Andy Benton, Technical Consultant from Michellís UK Headquarters led the discussions and demonstrations.
Michell Instruments Brasil was established in 2013 and is the latest of the companyís global subsidiary offices. As well as the headquarters in Ely, UK, Michell Instruments has subsidiaries and offices in The Netherlands, France, Italy, Germany, Japan, China, Hong Kong, the United States and Brazil.
