Intertek Launches Transformer Oil Testing in Singapore

(Singapore) Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety services to a wide range of industries around the world, is now providing transformer oil quality testing in Singapore, under the global TransoilCHECK™ program.

TransoilCHECK™ is a preventive oil condition based maintenance program providing owners and operators with important quality testing results and condition trend-monitoring information. Test results are sent to clients with easy-to-read summaries and recommendations.

The regional oil condition monitoring laboratory in Singapore is the latest addition to Intertek’s global TransoilCHECK™ program, and is well positioned to support testing and quality monitoring needs of Intertek customers in the Asia Pacific region. The new transformer oil testing capability and expertise enhances Intertek Singapore’s existing and extensive laboratory services portfolio.

The Singapore laboratory provides more than twenty types of tests for transformer oil, insulating oil, and lubricants, in accordance to International test methods such as ASTM, IEC, and other standards. Test results are fully interpreted and provide the end-user with greater understanding and visibility on the oil condition as a whole.
