With Africa’s attractiveness as a business destination firmly on the rise, more and more companies are using the 10 events-in-one SA Industry and Technology Fair (INDUTEC) as a powerful, cost-effective springboard into the rest of Africa. “Africa is now rated as the second most attractive investment destination in the world and businesses are actively using INDUTEC to explore these opportunities,” says John Thomson from Exhibition Management Services, organisers of the event. INDUTEC takes place from 20 to 22 May 2015 at Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand.
Instead of making many trips to different African countries to find business opportunities, one trip to INDUTEC will give you exposure to many companies from all over Africa. “INDUTEC provides a profitable networking platform allowing you to leverage opportunities from around the continent – at one place and at one time,” continues Thomson.
INDUTEC comprises events targeting the manufacturing, engineering, water, petrochemical, plastics, and energy sectors, with many business opportunities.
Newcomers to PVP Africa 2015
Thai-German Products Public Company Limited or TGPRO will exhibit at Pumps, Valves and Pipes Africa for the first time in 2015. This will also be their first time exhibiting in Africa. “We decided to exhibit at PVP Africa 2015 because this event will help us introduce our company and products into the African market and will help us expand our business into Africa,” says Rinlada Panpoonsub, International Sales Executive at Thai-German Products.
TGPRO is a producer of stainless steel pipes, tubes and sheets. They will not be launching any new products but will exhibit their range of stainless steel pipes, tubes and sheets, for both industrial and decorative usage, which will be new for the African market. Some of their products include high grade stainless steel 304,316L pipes; such as industrial pipes, sanitary tubes, heat exchanger tubes, and ornamental tubes.
Franklin Fuelling Systems Limited, another first time exhibitor at the event, is a world leading provider of complete fuelling systems. Natasha Pratley, Marketing Executive at Franklin Fuelling Systems, says, “We decided to exhibit at this event because it has synergy with our allied industries.”
They will launch their new storage tank overfill protection device – that will keep tanks from over filling - and exhibit their UPP, submersible pumping systems and fuel management systems.
Their brand fuel management product range includes sensors, probes and consoles which together provide continuous inventory monitoring and tank testing through proven magnetostrictive probe technology. Magnetostriction is a property of ferromagnetic materials that causes them to change their shape or dimensions during the process of magnetisation.
Third time exhibitor, Sera ProDos SA, will be back again in 2015 to launch their new chemical dosing system and showcase their compact dosing system. Sera ProDos offers a wide range of precision metering pumps as well as complete dosing systems with a wide variety of add-ons and accessories. “We decided to exhibit at Pumps, Valves and Pipes Africa 2015 for brand exposure and networking and we always find customers at the show,” says Marco Josephs, General Manager of Sera ProDos SA. He adds that this event can help with the growth of the industry by creating awareness of business opportunities to potential investors.
“INDUTEC is endorsed and supported traditionally by 33 leading professional associations and organisations, making it the leading showcase for industry on the continent,” says John Thomson from Exhibition Management Services, organisers of the event. It also plays host to many associated conferences and workshops.
