Recently, Jereh signed a strategic partnership agreement with Qujing Fuyuan County Government in Yunnan province on local coal bed methane (CBM) development and comprehensive utilization, aiming at optimizing local energy structure and maximizing social and economic benefits.
Yunan has approximately 450 billion cubic meters coal bed methane, ranking the third in China and the coal industry has dominated Fuyuan County’s economic development. However in recent years, in order to reduce the pollution from coal exploration, the government is paying more attentions to cleaner energy development, CBM to gather scattered well gas for comprehensive utilization.
For combined energy sector, Jereh is highlighted by CBM comprehensive development and utilization, industrial waste heat and pressure recycle, energy conservation and environment protection, and natural gas combined energy engineering.
