Emerson Process Management has released the latest version of its Regulator Toolkit, v8.0. This PC application is designed to guide users quickly and easily to technical information, product literature, and other tools to learn more about which regulator or relief valve is best for various applications.
Several tools are available in the application, including:
- A regulator selection wizard which assists users in selecting the correct regulator for particular applications
- A gas regulator sizing program that assists users in sizing a regulator application, including monitor sizing and noise attenuation prediction calculations
- CAD drawings that allow users to conveniently create two and three-dimensional product representation
- Animations that show internal operations of select products and a link to an online video library, which contains installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance videos for select products
- Document search, which allows users to filter literature by document type, product, industry, or language. This feature also allows the user to view which documents have already been downloaded
- An update wizard that allows users to stay up-to-date by automatically downloading all new or revised documentation, including application guides, brochures, bulletins, catalogs, data sheets, schematics, installation guides, instruction manuals, fliers, and safe use guides.
- A sales office locator, which provides users with an easy way to find their local sales office
