Trilateral Protocol on Nanotechnologies Use Signed in Iran

SOCAR delegation paid a visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran on the invitation of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). During the meeting titled “Transfer of technologies” held with the representatives of Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) and the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI), the parties discussed the nanotechnologies operated by SOCAR, key parameters of these technologies and intentions of the sides.

It was noted that delegation consisting of employees of NIOC-RIPI and the SOCAR Vice-President Khoshbakht Yusifzade discussed the cooperation perspectives, especially applying SOCAR’s nanotechnologies in Iran’s oil fields, as well as highlighted the deepening of bilateral relations.

At the end of the visit, SOCAR Department of Nanotechnologies and NIOC-RIPI and IOOC signed trilateral cooperation protocol on application of nanotechnologies in oil production and transportation in Iran.
