SKF Appoints New Global Director of SKF Vehicle Service Market

SKF announced that Hans Sjostrom has been appointed new global Director of the SKF Vehicle Service Market Business Unit. Sjostrom is replacing Christer Cedervall who takes up the role of Director, SKF Industrial Market Demand Chain & Logistics Services.

Sjostrom has been with SKF for 18 years, holding positions such as Director SKF Automotive Market Business Development & Marketing and Director Business Consulting and head of Coated bearings. Sjostrom has extensive experience in the automotive sector and his expertise includes R&D, marketing and sales, process engineering and operations management with companies such as Tenneco Automotive, Finnveden Metal Structures and SKF.

This change is effective as of May 1, 2015. In his new role Sjostrom will continue to report to Stephane Le-Mounier, President SKF Automotive Market, and will remain located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
