Total Indonesia Recognizes Tenaris for Contribution in Low Oil Price Environment

Tenaris received an award for “Best Contribution in Low Oil Price Environment for Material” from Total E&P Indonesia (TEPI) during their annual Supplier Gathering 2015 event.

“This award was the acknowledgement of Tenaris’s partnership and commitment in accompanying and supporting TEPI to go through all the challenges, including cost-efficient solutions and effective operation to weather the sharp decline in oil price,” said Indrawan Yodhi, Tenaris Sales Coordinator in Indonesia.

Through its office in Balikpapan, Tenaris’s team has worked side by side with TEPI to understand their operational needs and customized a complete package of services that effectively reduced the customer’s total cost of ownership, including material selection, pipe management services, training and field service support. Tenaris’s factory located in Cilegon, Indonesia – PT Seamless Pipe Indonesia Jaya (SPIJ) - and its extensive licensee and repair shop network enabled flexible delivery and fast response to match the project schedule and optimize the stock level of TEPI to prevent non-productive time.
