The planned expansion of the Karachaganak oil field in Kazakhstan, operated by BG and Eni, will require $12 billion in investments, Kazakh Energy Minister Vladimir Shkolnik said.
Work on the project will begin in 2017, Shkolnik told reporters. He did not provide any other details.
