A new internet site for Gazpromneft-Badra, operator of the Badra oilfield Iraq, is now available at www.gazpromneft-badra.com. This new resource covers the work and activities of the international consortium developing the field and comprising Gazprom Neft (30 percent), Kogas, Korea (22.5 percent), Petronas, Malaysia (15 percent), TPAO, Turkey (7.5 percent) and the Republic of Iraq, through the national Oil Exploration Company (OEC, 25 percent).
Gazpromneft-Badra is a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft, under the management of Gazpromneft-Razvitie LLC. The new portal significantly improves accessibility and opportunities for interaction with clients and readers, with a live newsfeed providing regular updates on developments at Gazpromneft-Badra, together with procurement and tendering opportunities, information on the company and its history, and an overview of current projects and future plans.
Head of Gazprom Neft Major Projects Directorate Denis Sugaipov commented: “As operator, Gazprom Neft is committed to constantly improving efficiency on the Badra project — and this is inextricably linked to better communications. Closer collaboration with specialists and professional organisations is allowing our company to establish an ongoing dialogue based around the principles of transparency and responsiveness. This additional outlet means we can make information on project activities readily accessible to a wider audience.”
