CNPC & Alibaba Group Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

CNPC signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Alibaba Group in Beijing. CNPC Chairman Wang Yilin and Alibaba Group Executive Chairman Ma Yun had a meeting before attending the signing ceremony.

According to the framework agreement, CNPC and Alibaba Group agreed to deepen cooperation and promote business transformation and upgrading based on the internet platform. The two sides will collaborate in various sectors including AliCloud, electronic map, internet car, Tmall, and Cainiao logistics, as well as in CNPC's Pocket Business Hall, internet payment, electronic refueling card, internet finance, membership service, and co-marketing.

Prior to the signing of the agreement, CNPC and Alibaba Group had already joint hands in promoting Alipay in CNPC's business services, and achieved satisfactory results. Relying on Alibaba's technological advantage and experience in interactive marketing, CNPC aims to further reduce capital operation costs, improve management and operation efficiency, and provide customers with better services.
