CNPC & Total Sign Strategic Framework Cooperation Agreement

CNPC Chairman Wang Yilin and Total Chairman and CEO Patrick Pouyanné, who is currently in Beijing attending the China Development Forum 2016, inked a strategic framework cooperation agreement, to promote oil and gas cooperation on a global scale for win-win outcomes.

Under the agreement, CNPC and Total will join hands in oil and gas investment, technological R&D and oilfield services, and strengthen communication and cooperation in corporate management, cultural innovation and corporate social responsibility, to enhance the strategic cooperation partnership in a sustainable manner.

Currently, the two sides have carried out comprehensive cooperation in upstream and downstream businesses as well as trade of crude and petroleum products both in China and other countries.
