PSI subsidiary PSI Automotive & Industry GmbH has been contracted by the Neuenhauser Maschinenbau GmbH, Geeste-Dalum, as well as the Wessling Oberfl?chenveredelung GmbH (WOB) with the implementation of an integrated enterprise resource planning and manufacturing execution solution.
As important suppliers in the commercial vehicle sector, for the agricultural and construction machine industry as well as component assembly, the two cooperating companies decided for PSIpenta/ERP and MES. Initially, they will each receive separate installations of the same software. In a second phase, these will be integrated via PSIpenta/Multisite. The implementation of the new system aims at a greater transparency of the production processes and costs, a further automation of all the corporate processes as well as a greater integration of the cross-corporate processes and the associated synergies.
Along with the ERP and MES standard PSIpenta, a module for the adaptive production control, the PSIpenta/Business-Reporting business intelligence solution as well as an EDI connection will be used. Using the Qualicision®-Software from the PSI subsidiary F/L/S Fuzzy Logik Systeme GmbH, complex sequential planning at WOB will be supported.
The Neuenhauser Maschinenbau GmbH with their branch in Geeste-Dalum is specialized in the toll production of modular and system components, amongst others for the commercial vehicle sector and agricultural and construction machine industry. The company has long-term contracts with renowned manufacturers that are handled from the customer orders and call orders to just-in-sequence calls.
WOB specializes on the finishing of surfaces and has the largest toll coating plant for KTL and powder coatings in Europe. In the 16 meter long, 2.6 meter wide and 3.6 meter deep bath, XXL format components or individual pieces with a weight of up to 6.5 tonnes can be coated. WOB serves some customers like the Neuenhauser GmbH directly or acts as an external manufacturer for the associated company.
