Following formal ratification of the new Petroleum Code by Parliament, HE Jean-Marc Thystere Tchicaya, Ministre des Hydrocarbures de la République du Congo, will provide details on the Petroleum Code together with an update of the 2016 License Round.
The Minister will also host a Technical Roadshow covering the following topics presented during the Roadshow and with Senior Ministerial, DGH and SNPC Representatives in attendance:
Code/PSC/Local Content, Introduction of the next License Round (2017-2019),
Marine XX, Presentation of new 3D seismic data, SNPC presentation, timing,
terms and conditions.
The 2016 and 2017 – 2019 License Rounds and Roadshow is supported by PGS.
The Ministry and SNPC will have an Exhibition Booth at the Conference, open from Monday to Friday and the Government Delegation will be available for private meetings during the Conference.
The Roadshow is only open to registered Delegates at the 23rd Africa Oil Week 2016.
