Managing Director of National Iranian South Oilfields Company said, in line with company's strategic plans, fabricating 14,000 items of petroleum industry equipment will be soon localized.
Explaining company's programs regarding resistance economy policies, Bijan Alipour added, more than 70% of oil industry's tools and parts have so sfar been domestically made by Iranian craftsmen.
"7,000 items of goods have been domestically manufactured up to this time, and making other 7000 items is now on agenda," he noted.
In previous year, in drilling, chemical and surface facilities sections, around 80% of petroleum industry equipment have been manufactured by Iranian suppliers.
Saying that 8th Khouzestan Oil Exhibition will be held from 7 to 10 Nov. 2016, he added, 250 leading Iranian manufacturers take part in this event.
Saying that, expanding domestic resources, as well as facilitating ways of reaching to resistance economy goals, are part of this 4-day event, Alipour went on, in this exhibition, our aim is prioritizing Iranian suppliers and manufacturers.
As the largest nationwide oil producer, NISOC output accounts for 80% of total domestic crude production.
