Managing Director of National Iranian South Oilfields Company said, up to this time, 14,000 items of oil – industry’s related equipment have been domestically made.
Bijan Alipour added, of this number, 8,000 items have been fabricated and other 6,000 items are now being made by Iranian craftsmen.
Saying that economic sanctions were a unique opportunity for us to strengthen domestic manufacturing , he added, in compliance with leader’s remarks , a positive interaction has now been made between government and private companies , which has yielded appropriate results in this regard.
Alipour expressed hope that in near future 100% of industrial tools and equipment will be made by domestic craftsmen.
As the largest oil producer , NISOC output accounts for 80% of crude oil as well as 16% of gas .
