Iraq's Oil Reserves Increase to 153 Billion Barrels

Mr. Jabbar A. Allibi the minister of oil declared for the elevation of the Iraqi reserves to (153) billion barrels. Mr. Allibi said that the exploration & reservoir activities in (7) oil fields in the middle and the south of Iraq contributed to add (10) billion barrels to the reserves to elevate it from (143) to (153) billion barrels.

Mr. Allibi ensured that Iraq will demand OPEC to depend the new reserves. He expected also that the Iraqi reserves will elevate more because of depending the ministry of oil on the ambitious plans and programs which are aiming to increase the exploration & reservoir activities.
