UDM discovered two new oil fields in Russia’s Udmurtia recently, with 600 thousand tons of C1+C2 reserves and 200 thousand tons of C1 reserves. The exploration wells, located at the Votkinsk license block and Sharkan license block, showed an oil flow rate of 62 m3/day and an oil flow rate of 15 m3/day, respectively.
UDM is short for Udmurtia Petroleum Corporation, a joint venture acquired by Rosneft Oil and Sinopec in Aug, 2006.
