Talks with a Delegation from Siemens Global

Eng. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources received a delegation from Siemens Global Co. including Mr. Emad Ghaly, Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Egypt and Mr. Brian Todd, Vice President of Oil and Gas Sales in Europe, Russia and Africa. The Ministry’s First Undersecretaries, CEO of EGAS in addition to a number of CEOs of Petroleum Sector companies, attended the meeting.

Siemens expressed its desire in renovating ageing generators in Oil fields & Refineries. The company is studying establishing a Work Center specialized in maintenance, repairing equipment for Oil, Gas & Electricity sectors at the city of Suez. The center will provide job opportunities in the Egyptian Market through a joint venture between Siemens, Egyptian Maintenance Company (San Misr) ,as a representative of the Ministry of Petroleum & the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company , representing the Ministry of Electricity.
