Woodside Petroleum expects the first cargo from the Wheatstone liquefied natural gas project in September, Chief Executive Peter Coleman said. "We're targeting first cargo in September," Coleman told analysts on a conference call.
Commissioning of the project's first processing unit, called a train, is nearly complete, and the second train is expected to be up and running between March and May 2018, he said. Chevron Corp is operator of Wheatstone.
