Iraq Became the Main Fuel Supplier to the Oil Tankers in the Territorial Waters

To supply the first international tanker with the operating fuel (Bunker) after the installation of the new supplying system in the territorial waters to supply the oil tankers with fuel, which is considered as a big accomplishment after a 30 years stoppage.
Mr. Al-Luiebi said that the Iraqi company for the transportation services & oil trading has become the main supplier of the (bunker) for all the ships and the oil & gas tankers which are arriving to the Iraqi ports. He said also that this accomplishment is the result of the plans of the ministry of oil to develop the performance of the oil companies “such as the Iraqi oil tankers company” and it will be a great achievement for many considerations because it will support and develop the Iraqi ports. As well as a good source of financial income which can support the national economy. In addition to its contribution in creating an international market for the (bunker) in the south of Iraq which can compete with the markets of Fujairah and Singapore which are the largest, so that the Iraqi company will become one of the strongest suppliers of (bunker) in the middle east.
It is worthy to say that the Iraqi company for the transportation services & oil trading which was resulted from the common operation project between the Iraqi oil tankers company and the Arab marine company for petroleum transportation (AMPTC). While the first supplied tanker ship with fuel was loaded with the Iraqi crude oil heading from Basrah port to Vadinar port in India. And it is worthy to say that the Iraqi company for the transportation services & oil trading is planning to load the Iraqi crude oil to 10 oil tankers for the international companies during the next year.
