New Hydrocarbons Discovery in Uruguay

It has been discovered presence of hydrocarbons in Paysandu according to the official information provided by technicians. This is the first exploration well onshore in 30 years in Uruguay and the first has been discovered that the presence of hydrocarbons.

This is the first exploration well drilled by the company Schuepbach Energy Uruguay under agreements with Ancap Exploration & Production in Salto and Piedra Sola blocks.

Despite this, it remains to be determined whether the discovery is marketable.

The next step is to study the flow of hydrocarbons to the surface.
