On November 17, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), the 27th World Gas Conference 2018 (WGC 2018) and LNG Allies are co-launching the U.S. Gas Infrastructure Exports Initiative at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, to connect American companies to export opportunities across the gas value chain in emerging economies.
Deploying a range of tools, such as reverse trade missions, feasibility studies, training, technical assistance, and the Global Procurement Initiative: Understanding Best Value, USTDA is working with U.S. industry and government partners to facilitate new gas infrastructure exports, including LNG exports through the development of gas-related infrastructure in key LNG receiving countries.

The conference and exhibition takes place every three years, and this edition marks the first time that the global gas industry event will be held in a country that is both the world’s largest gas consumer and gas producer.
